Ministry Partners
Four organizations are considered partners in ministry with the Saint Paul Area Synod and they receive support from the synod’s budget. These ministries are Luther Seminary, Lutheran Campus Ministry-Twin Cities, Lutheran Advocacy Minnesota, and Minnesota Council of Churches. Luther Seminary
Luther Seminary offers Master of Divinity, Master of Arts, and Master of Theology degrees, along with certificate programs offering concentrations in Bible, history of Christianity and systemic theology; children, youth and family ministry; Christian ministry; leadership and innovation for ministry; and more. The seminary also offers daily devotions, podcasts, online resources for faith leadership, stewardship and other support for individuals and congregations.
Lutheran Advocacy-Minnesota
Lutheran Advocacy-Minnesota is a state public policy office of the ELCA. It advocates for justice in the areas of hunger, poverty and care of God’s creation. Working together with congregations, coalitions, and legislators throughout the state of Minnesota, it creates networks to advance public policies that promote and protect the common good.

Lutheran Campus Ministry
Lutheran Campus Ministry-Twin Cities is a Christ-centered community for students at the University of Minnesota. It offers worship, service and justice work opportunities, community activities and small group gatherings in many places and spaces across the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. Rooted in Word and sacrament, LCM is a Christian community by students, for students. It encourages students to “Be Real. Be Curious. Be Community.”
Minnesota Council of Churches
Through Refugee Services in the Twin Cities and Mankato, through Racial Justice truth-telling and education statewide, through empathy-building and depolarization in MCC Respectful Conversations, through interfaith relationship-building in Taking Heart Ramadan Iftars, and through public witness and justice advocacy, the Minnesota Council of Churches manifests the unity of the body of Christ and builds the common good in the world. Its 27-member judicatories come from Traditional Peace, Historic Black, Orthodox and Mainline Protestant denominations.
Minnesota Multifaith Network
Minnesota Multifaith Network (MnMN) connects and equips Minnesotans for multifaith learning, leadership and action. Its two main functions are to convene interfaith leaders, faith organizations and practitioners across the state and two communicate opportunities and resources for interfaith involvement and learning.
