The outbreak of COVID-19 has further revealed and complicated racial disparity in our cities, states, and nation. This is especially evident in data about access to healthcare. As people of faith, we are called to tell the truth about this failure and respond with loving justice. The Saint Paul Area Synod's Advocates for Racial Equity (ARE) work group hosted an online conversation on June 13 about healthcare disparities with Melanie Ferris, a research scientist at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation. Click the image below to watch a recording of the call (or view it on Vimeo).
