Families Together East Side Video

As part of The Planting Hope Campaign, the Saint Paul Area Synod is partnering with Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota to bring Families Together, a therapeutic preschool, to the East Side of St. Paul. This investment will provide new and critically important services to children and families facing economic disparities and challenging life situations.

This video details the preschool and the impact it will have on families and the community of St. Paul's East Side. The video features Bishop Patricia Lull of the synod and Alexis Oberdorfer, V.P. & Chief Officer of Community Engagement & Partnerships for Lutheran Social Service. Intent Form

The intent form may be used as is OR you may wish to personalize the form by adding your congregation's information in the empty space on the left side. Congregations are to collect the intent cards, then share with the synod the total amount and number of giving units. Contributions are to be collected by the congregations and ultimately provided in one lump sum to the synod office.

Interested in an online intent form for your congregation's Planting Hope efforts? The synod has created a form on Google that we can send a copy of to you for your use. You just need to have a gmail email address to be able to access it. Send an email to Mary Smith, director of communications, at communications@spas-elca.org requesting access to the online form and include the gmail address where instructions should be sent.

Hymnal Wrap

A hymnal wrap is a visible way to promote the Planting Hope Campaign in the pews. These are designed as 5.25" wide x 20.25" high and will need to be printed by a professional printer.

NOTE: If it is prohibitive for your congregation to download and print your own materials, you may request printed items by emailing info@spas-elca.org. Be sure to detail the item(s) you want (eg. bulletin inserts 1-4), the quantity needed, as well as your congregation and contact information. You must allow at least two weeks for receipt of print orders.
