
Greg Triplett
Financial Administrator, part-time, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Greg Triplett joined the Synod staff in March 2011. Before working at the synod, Greg was self-employed providing accounting and financial management services to a variety of both for profit businesses and non-profit organizations. Growing up, Greg lived in a number of different states including Arkansas, Tennessee and South Carolina. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with an accounting degree and is a CPA (inactive); he also has a degree in Biology from Iowa State University. On causal Fridays, Greg wears his cowboy boots, and if the weather is nice he enjoys riding his motorcycle to work. He and his wife, Susan, live in White Bear Lake.
In his role as financial administrator, Greg:
- Manages financial records and accounts
- Oversees insurance vendors, legal documents, and the annual audit
- Coordinates payroll and assists in personnel administration
- Assists with the financial operation and support of global companion partnerships
- Serves as resource to congregations about ELCA mission support records and other congregational financial issues
- Provides support and expertise for programs and initiatives including stewardship, candidacy, mission starts, salary and compensation guidelines, and other efforts that further the ministry of the Saint Paul Area Synod
