So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.
Thessalonians 5:11

Diego Gil (ILAG staff) and Joan Felice and Randee Edmundson (from Saint Paul Areas Synod congregations) shared their first-hand experiences on the ground in Guatemala on Saturday, Feb. 4. If you were not able to join this first-in-years indoor, in-person Guatemala Friends event, you will want to view the resources that are available.

First, you’ll hear updates about the ILAG from Diego. Then join Joan and Randee as they walk together with our ILAG partners as they mutually encourage, learn, work—shovel, dig really deep, plant, problem solve, teach, share meals, pray, and build stronger relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

We appreciate the work that Joan and Randee invested in planning and presenting this program. The video, unfortunately, did not capture all of Randee’s presentation. However, both Randee and Joan have detailed images on the slide presentations that give a great overview of their experiences.

Randee and Joan were the first Minnesota delegates to visit Guatemala after receiving guidance from the SPAS re-engagement delegation returned last summer. As groups travel to Guatemala this year, members are reconnecting with people they have not seen for at least three years.
