Event Coordinator
Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church (SOTV) is seeking a qualified, organized candidate with a passion for managing all the details of event planning. This role will engage and empower volunteers to be leaders working alongside staff. This role will promote hospitality and welcome to all.
SOTV is an ELCA congregation of approximately 8,500membersi n Apple Valley, Minnesota, a suburb of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Current average worship attendance is 2,000weekly.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
➢Work with staff and volunteers to develop and implement ministry and fellowship events
➢Oversee fellowship with worship services •Oversee staff and volunteer schedules
➢Recruit, Train, and Retain Volunteers •Ministry Leaders •Participants
➢Communication and Promotion
➢Manage multiple events simultaneously
➢Administrative Support
➢Program Development
