Saint Paul Area Synod, St. Paul | Part-Time

The Saint Paul Area Synod seeks to hire a program coordinator to oversee an internship program, funded by the Planting Hope Campaign. This is a contract position. The program coordinator will work to recruit placement sites, design and implement an application process, and oversee the placement process for up to 10 summer internships each year.

The project will include a learning component for the cohort of interns, for which the program coordinator will provide organizational support. Flexible hours and remote work make it an easy complement to existing employment. This position works closely with a senior member of the synod staff and reports to the Bishop.

The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for the church, a bold imagination about vocation, is open to new possibilities for what leadership can look like in the church. They are interested in accompanying the next generation’s leaders as they (re)imagine what a vocation in or adjacent to the church might look like. They demonstrate a commitment to equity and inclusion. Annual stipend of $10,000.
