Business Administrator

Christ Lutheran Church is seeking a Business Administrator responsible for administrating the spending plan and finances of the church in the context of council approved budget and policies.  He/she is to support the Stewardship, Finance, and Executive Committees of the church.  Provides a work environment that is positive and motivating for staff and volunteers.  He/she is to perform a variety of general administrative, accounting, personnel, payroll, and risk management functions. Implement all church policies.  Supervises office administrator and facilities staff.

Preference will be given to candidates with excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a consensus decision­ making process is high desired.  Thorough knowledge of “QuickBooks” software, and experience with payroll processing, general ledger, bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable required.  A Bachelor’s degree preferred or 8+ years of equivalent work experience with similar responsibilities preferred.
