Guatemala Friends Gathering

The synod’s Guatemala Committee invites you to join them in a continuing conversation about migration and its impact on our friends in the Iglesia Luterana Agustina de Guatemala (ILAG). We’ll begin with a refresher about our conversation in February with Pastor Karen and Diego Gil. Then we’ll fire up Zoom to hear from Pastor Karen and Valeria Gil Castillo about their reflections from participating in a recent border immersion program. The experience was facilitated by Iglesia Luterana Cristo Rey in El Paso, Texas, a congregation of the ELCA Rocky Mountain Synod. No registration is required…just show up!
