Farewell Celebration for Bishop Lull

July 26 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

“Other seeds fell into good soil and brought forth grain, growing up and increasing
and yielding thirty and sixty and a hundredfold.” — Mark 4:8

The Saint Paul Area Synod invites you to join us for a celebration of thanksgiving and blessing as we honor Bishop Patricia Lull and her 12 years of faithful service among us. Like the sower in Jesus’ parable, Bishop Lull has scattered seeds of faith, hope, and love through her leadership, encouragement, wisdom, and care. During her tenure, congregations have been strengthened, leaders have been nurtured, and communities have been inspired to live more deeply into God’s mission.

As Bishop Lull concludes her service as bishop, we gather in gratitude for God’s many gifts embodied throughout her ministry. Together we will celebrate the seeds she has sown, the growth God has given, and the abundant blessings that will continue to bear fruit for years to come.  Please join us for an afternoon of hymn singing, story-telling and thanksgiving for Bishop Lull’s faithful leadership as we commend her to the next chapter of God’s call. Note: a program and hymn sing will begin at 3:00 p.m.

If you plan to attend, please fill out a brief sign-up form so we have an idea of how many people to plan for. Can’t attend in person? Watch the livestream!
