With a growing awareness of the challenges posed by dementia, faith leaders, staff, and lay people are beginning to explore ways to make their communities more dementia friendly. Faith communities want to be welcoming places where people who are living with dementia, and their caregivers who share their journey, can continue to nurture and grow their faith. This forum will cover the basics of Alzheimer’s and other dementias, tips for raising awareness, ideas for providing spiritual support to people with dementia and action resources for becoming a dementia-friendly faith community.
