Tool Kit for Congregational Leaders
Church council representatives, committee members, rostered ministers, staff and all others involved with ministry in their congregations are invited to join us for Tool Kit for Congregational Leaders!
This popular event features 10 workshops that focus on a variety of areas related to congregational life with special sessions just for congregation presidents/vice presidents and treasurers. Other content will focus on bystander training, understanding implicit bias, children in worship, hybrid ministry, faith-based advocacy, peer ministry skills, and creating a culture of calling. In 2023, Tool Kit will be held in conjunction with the synod's conference assemblies. These gatherings are open to anyone from the synod who wishes to attend, along with voting members of our congregations. The six conferences of the synod will meet separately and the agenda may include elections, proposed resolutions or other matters. Click here to view each congregation's voting member allocation.

8:00 a.m. - Check-in
8:30 a.m. - Welcome & Worship
9:00 a.m. - Conference Assemblies
10:00 a.m. - Opening for Tool Kit
10:30 a.m. - Tool Kit Session One
12:15 p.m. - Lunch
1:15 p.m. - Tool Kit Session Two
2:45 p.m. - Conclusion
The registration fee for Tool Kit is $20 per person, which includes any materials and lunch. There is no charge for those attending only a conference assembly.
If you are registering multiple persons from your congregation, please note that you will need to have the following information for each registrant: first and last name, email address, registration type (conference assemblies only, tool kit only or both), preferred pronouns, food allergies/dietary restrictions for lunch, as well as their workshop selections for the morning and afternoon.
