This event is for active rostered ministers in the Saint Paul Area Synod (including those on leave from call). Interns are welcome only if their supervising pastor is also attending.
Presenter Rev. Dr. Katherine A. Shaner from Wake Forest University School of Divinity will help us dive deeply into New Testament stories about often forgotten or misrepresented people who did extraordinary things in their faith journeys.
What difference does it make to think about the Samaritan woman at the well, Euodia and Syntyche at Philippi, and the Syrophoenician woman as faithful leaders who build communities across difference? Be sure to bring your own Bible as we explore "Reading Across Difference."

The registration fee includes meals plus conference materials and lodging for two nights.
