Posting a Job Opening

ELCA congregations and other ministry partners are welcome to submit brief job postings to the synod website. The date following the listing is the date the job was posted. Outdated listings are frustrating to those in the midst of an employment search. Please help us to be a useful resource for congregations and job seekers by notifying us promptly when a position has been filled. Job listings will be removed after three months unless the synod is notified that you wish to continue to post the listing.

Koinonia Community, Catskills and New York City, staff to host, support, and lead programming with youth and adults in 1200 acres of Catskill wilderness as well as in New York City. Staff live and serve in a community setting, practicing the ministries of hospitality and availability. Specific responsibilities may include leading environmental education sessions, to caring for our farm, as well as assisting all staff with housekeeping and maintenance tasks. In New York City, staff will have opportunities to work with congregations and social ministry organizations, including disaster response, as an extension of Koinonia programming.
