Cyndi Berg, Office Managaer
Oversees office operations; provides administrative support to the assistant to the bishop for evangelical mission and the assistant to the bishop for congregational life and mission; assists with and assigns general office support; and serves as a key participant in planning the synod assembly and other events.

The Rev. Paul Erickson, Assistant to the Bishop for Evangelical Mission
Serves as deployed churchwide staff from Evangelical Outreach and Congregational Mission (EOCM) who furthers the work of the whole church in the Saint Paul Area Synod by engaging synodical leaders, structures, and strategies in the formation and development of evangelizing congregations; relates to the South Central Conference and urban and ethnic ministries; serves as liaison to the Dakota County Partners; furthers collaborative mission funding strategies; assists with the care and support of rostered leaders and congregations.

Beth Helgen, Assistant to the Bishop for Administration
Serves as a liaison to the bishop and provides oversight and coordination around efforts directly related to the bishop's work and synod governance, provides administration and coordination of the office of the bishop, gives oversight to finance, media relations, and communications; and assists with the care and support of rostered leaders and congregations.

Nancy Johnson, Roster and Program Assistant
Provides support to the bishop, the assistant to the bishop for administration, andthe assistant to the bishop for leadership support; serves as the database administrator; assists with hospitality and general office support; serves as a key participant in planning for conference assemblies and the synod assembly; and coordinates materials and resources for Crossing Bridges grants.

Myrna Lamberton, Financial Administrator, part-time
Manages financial records and accounts; coordinates property and personnel matters; reviews and updates Salary and Compensation Guidelines. Serves as resource to congregations about ELCA mission support records.

The Rev. Susan Miller, Assistant to the Bishop for Congregational Life and Mission
Works in partnership with synod staff to assist congregations and leaders in lifting up a vision for mission of the larger church, supporting and equipping them to participate in that vision; relates to the Southeast Conference, South Conference, and East Central Conference; liaison to Children, Youth, and Family Ministry steering committee; coordinates the stewardship leadership team, and serves as a contact for stewardship ministries and interim pastors; assists with the care and support of rostered leaders and congregations.

Kate Olson, Communications Specialist
Provides support for print and electronic communications that furthers the mission and ministry of the congregations and leaders of the Saint Paul Area Synod and serves as a member of the synod assembly planning team.

Sister Noreen Stevens, Assistant to the Bishop for Leadership Support
Works in partnership with synod staff to identify, equip, and strengthen leaders in this church, particularly in matters related to candidacy, mobility, and call process; relates to the Noth Central Conference and Noth Conference; coordinates First Call Theological Education and events involving those in specialized ministry; assists with the care and support of rostered leaders and congregations.
