Registration Information
Registration FeesThe registration fee for voting members and advisors includes costs for assembly materials, mailings, facility costs, Friday lunch, Friday dinner, Saturday lunch, and breaks. The registration fee for visitors includes facility costs and meals and breaks for the days registered. Mileage is not included. A late registration fee will apply to those who register after the April 18 deadline. There will be no refund for cancellations after May 1. Voting Member/Advisor (register by Apr. 18) $ 115.00 How to RegisterAll voting members and visitors must register through their congregations. A master copy of the registration form is included on page 19. If you register using a paper form, please make photocopies so that you have one registration form per person attending. Online registration is available at www.spas-elca.org. Click on Assembly Registration on the home page. Please encourage visitors from your congregation to attend as well. Pre-Assembly ReportOne month before the assembly, the pre-assembly report will be mailed to all registered voting members and advisors. Much of the information in the pre-assembly report will be included in issues of FaithLink, on the synod website, and in e-communications. Those who register after April 18 will receive their book at the assembly or may pick it up at the synod office if they wish to read the materials prior to the assembly. If you request that pre-assembly reports be mailed to your congregation for distribution to voting members, please be sure to distribute them in a timely way so that those attending have time to read the materials and prepare. Hotel AccommodationsSeveral moderately priced hotels lie within a few blocks of Prince of Peace. If you would like a list, please call the synod office. Those wishing to make use of these accommodations are responsible for booking their own room and any costs.
